Built on Dog Psychology, Not Human Logic
Dogs experience the world differently from people. Nose first, then eyes, then ears. Halo's training program works with that natural hierarchy: it uses scent-driven curiosity to help dogs form initial associations, then layers in visual and auditory feedback cues. The underlying framework is Cesar's "rules, boundaries, and limitations" approach, rules are standard behaviors (like not pulling on a leash), boundaries are physical or virtual borders (like staying in the yard), and limitations manage the intensity or duration of activities. Providing this structure is a core part of what it means to be a pack leader.
